What we collect
If you enter the weekly giveaway, we collect your email address and, optionally, a first name and zip code. We also keep a record of your consent to receive emails. We don't require an account and we don't ask for anything else.
How we use it
We use your email only to run the giveaway (to notify you if you win) and, if you opted in, to send the occasional weekend roundup. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing.
Unsubscribing
Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time. Once you unsubscribe we stop emailing you and remove your address from the active list.
Analytics & cookies
The site does not use advertising trackers. Some pages load images, weather, and tide data from third parties (Wikimedia Commons, Open-Meteo, and NOAA), and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which see your browser's request the same way visiting any website does.
